Community Support Services assist seniors and adults with physical disabilities and individuals with special needs to remain comfortably and safely at home in their own community. Community services are based on a firm philosophy that values friendly, caring, personalized service, in order to enhance self esteem and promote independence.
Staff at the Centre assists individuals to navigate and access appropriate community services necessary to remain independent at home.
The Seniors' Centre, located at Maxville Manor serves as a focal point for seniors as individuals or in groups to come together for services designed to enhance their dignity and support their involvement in the community.
The programs consist of a variety of services in areas of education, recreation, nutrition, advocacy, health and other supportive services.
REFERRALS are accepted from family members, self, physicians, self and other agencies.
