Redevelopment Updates

Maxville Manor is proud to announce that our transformative $68 million redevelopment project kicked off in June of 2025-a bold, visionary endeavor aimed at significantly improving our facilities and elevating the quality of care provided to seniors throughout Eastern Ontario.

The journey will take multiple years and four phases, as we look to redefine our HOME and grow from 122 to 160 long-term care beds.

However, this redevelopment is more than growth alone-it's about building a better space, more compassionate in nature, where comfort, connection, and care are at the core. At the heart of this transformation is a movement toward a more intimate, home-like model of care, with the grouping of resident rooms in clusters of 16 to encourage deep connections and a strong sense of belonging.

The new, improved Manor will boast state-of-the-art modern amenities, including updated heating, ventilation, and infection control systems; increased accessibility throughout the facility; improved parking and outdoor areas; and modern technology supporting both residents and staff.

The construction, to be completed over several years, is carefully planned to minimize disruption to those who matter most: our residents. Every step of the way, we remain committed to their comfort, safety, and well-being.
